Meet the Staff

Jamie Smothers is an Air Force veteran having served on active duty for 10 years and married to a retired Marine Corps veteran. She is passionate about helping the veterans in her community. As a County Veteran Service Officer for the past 5 years she has helped numerous veterans and family members enroll in and apply for VA benefits. She prides herself on providing her clients with the attention to detail that each claim deserves. She listens to each individual story and provides the help and assistance that is requested!

Aubrey Clark comes from a large family of veterans, with her youngest child currently serving in the United States Air Force.  Growing up around family that had served in each branch of the military, she learned at a young age, to value and respect the sacrifices our veterans have made.  

Joshua Vallejo recently retired from United States Army after serving 21 years on active duty. He grew up in Hamilton Montana and is married to his high school sweetheart who is also a United States Army veteran. He participated in several deployments to include Iraq and Afghanistan. He has a considerable amount training and experience working with Veterans as well as their family members and is well equipped to assist them in attaining the benefits they deserve. He considers it an honor and privilege to continue to serve the Veterans in the community that he was so blessed to grow up in.

  Andrew Poff grew up in Libby, MT and is an Army veteran who served on active duty as a Cavalry Scout for 6 years. He completed one tour in Iraq. After his military service he used GI Bill benefits for college and spent a lot of time traveling around and working in various industries. He’s happy to be back in Montana and be part of a team helping fellow veterans and their family members. 

Heidi is the proud MoM of a Marine Corps Veteran, and one who enjoys all of the beauty and outdoor adventure that Montana has to offer. She believes there is nothing better in a job, than to meet local Veteran heroes on a daily basis, and to work with an amazing group of VSO‘s who champion on their behalf. Life is good when you love what you do!
